The second annual Alberta Graduate Conference will be held at the University of Alberta from May 3-5, 2012. This multi-disciplinary event supports graduate students in their efforts to translate their education and research into meaningful career opportunities. By linking graduate students with future employers, investors and university administrators, the AGC accelerates the process of innovation, bridging the gap between academia and industry.

Angela Bokenfohr’s had schizophrenia, asthma, numerous ankle injuries, broken bones and bruises covering her entire body. But Bokenfohr isn’t short on luck– she works at the University of Alberta’s Standardized Patient Program (SPP) where portraying varying medical conditions is the name of the game.
